We sow our Celebration Peas, a variety well regarded for its sweetness, small size and tenderness, from early March to May (depending on the Yorkshire weather!).
Growing in the Sea Breeze
The Wold’s gentle Maritime climate makes for the sweetest peas you’ll ever taste
Pea viners make harvesting easy peasy. They take the perfectly ripe pods off the vines, remove the peas from the pods, and return the waste pods to the field.
The peas are whisked off to the factory, just 30 miles away, from the fields for laser sorting and washing.
The Big Chill
The sweet peas are then flash frozen, locking in all the vitamins and freshness ready for you to enjoy — fresh as the day they were picked.
And finally... to the shops!
